Are you ready to begin your career as a Real Estate Agent or Broker? CNM Ingenuity’s Real Estate Pre-Licensing Series prepares you for a career in this dynamic industry.   

Our Real Estate Pre-Licensing series is comprised of three, 30-hour courses that together fulfill the educational prerequisites necessary to sit for the New Mexico Real Estate Broker’s Examination.  

For each real estate pre-licensing course you complete, you will receive a certificate that is valid for three years. These certificates are used to apply for the state exam, which is governed by the New Mexico Real Estate Commission and administered by PSI. We do not offer the exam at CNM Ingenuity. 

About the NM Real Estate Pre-Licensing Courses

CNM Ingenuity is dedicated to providing flexible instruction methods. We offer all Real Estate Pre-Licensing courses online with asynchronous instruction. This means there are no scheduled meeting times – you can complete the coursework on your own schedule! 

As an added support, our instructors offer optional virtual, synchronous learning sessions weekly so you can complete your coursework with confidence. 

Key Details

  • Each course takes 10 weeks to complete.
  • All three courses can be taken simultaneously to complete the full series. 
  • Plan to dedicate three hours per week for each individual pre-licensing course. 
  • All classes are online and will require a computer with internet access. 
  • E-books are included in the cost and are yours to keep forever. 
  • Registered students will receive an email with class information the week before the scheduled start date.

Take Individual Real Estate Pre-Licensing Classes

If you plan to take each class separately, we recommend taking Real Estate Law first, Real Estate Principles and Practice second, and Real Estate Broker Basics last. 

Once you have completed 90 hours of pre-licensing coursework, you will be eligible to take your licensing examination through the New Mexico Real Estate Commission.
